Colophon

How this site is made.

I built this site by hand. There’s nothing to sign up for, and you can push the letters on the home page around.

How it’s built

Framework: Next.js App Router
Language: TypeScript
Styling: Tailwind CSS, four primary colours plus black
Rendering: Server-rendered on each request, self-hosted in Docker
Content: TypeScript data files, and MDX for the log
Motion: Pixel lettering you can push around, pixel page transitions and a CRT mode. All of it stops when your system asks for reduced motion.
Type: Archivo (wide), Newsreader, Silkscreen
Influences: y-n10.com, cafe-robot.co, alistairshepherd.uk, vole.wtf, simone.computer
